Delete Your Account and Data

This page explains how to delete your FateCode account and its data, what happens after you do, and which records we keep. You do not need to install the app or sign in to read this page.

How to request deletion

In the app: open FateCode, go to Profile at the bottom, then Account Security, then Delete Account, and confirm as prompted. On the web: sign in and use the same entry point. Both paths are equivalent, both are self-service, and neither requires contacting support.

What happens after you submit

Your account is deactivated and signed out immediately, then enters a 7-day grace period. During that time none of your data is changed: simply signing back in with the same account cancels the request and restores everything, with no need to contact support. Once the 7 days are up, the deletion is carried out.

What gets deleted

When the grace period ends, your account itself is removed from the service, together with the charts you created, your analysis reports, conversation history, relationships and custom labels, and any chart shares. None of it remains reachable from the app or the website, and it cannot be restored by you. Unused entitlements and balances are forfeited.

What we keep, and for how long

A small set of audit records is kept in restricted archives to meet legal obligations and to handle disputes: transaction and spending history, sign-in records, any feedback you submitted, and system messages. They are no longer used to provide the service; only authorised staff may access them, solely where the law requires it or a dispute is being resolved, and they are erased once the corresponding obligation expires. The items listed in the previous section are also held in the same archives for a period, for the same purpose.

Before you proceed

Deleting your account is not the same as signing out, and not the same as deactivating it: once the grace period passes, it cannot be undone. Charts you shared with other people are withdrawn as well, and they will no longer be able to view them. You may register again with the same email address or phone number afterwards, but that is a brand-new account and none of your history comes back with it.

Need help

If you cannot sign in, or would prefer a member of our team to process the request for you, contact us using the details below. To keep accounts safe we will first verify that the account is yours, and then carry out the deletion.
