About

Deterministic charting algorithms, joined to a reading layer willing to speak plainly.

What we do

FateCode provides complete BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu and Shen Sha charting, and builds long-form reports and multi-turn consultations on top of it. Charting follows traditional calendar rules — solar-term month boundaries, true solar time correction, the midnight branch crossing days — without simplification. The reading is produced by a large language model whose job is to translate terminology, not to improvise.

Where the algorithms come from

Calendar and stem-branch computation rests on a public Chinese lunisolar calendar library; shen sha resolution follows a rule set with each entry's source cited. The same birth data always produces the same chart — there is no randomness in this layer, and you can verify it against any classical text. Birth places resolve to coordinates for true solar time correction, because one degree of longitude is roughly four minutes, and crossing a boundary changes the pillar.

How we see all this

A chart describes tendencies and rhythms; it is not a schedule. It can suggest where you tend to open up and where you tend to tighten, but it cannot tell you which day to sign a contract. We make no predictions about specific events, pronounce no verdicts of fortune or misfortune, and sell no remedies of any kind. Treated as one angle on self-understanding, it is far more useful than treated as an answer.
